It was designed as a serious everyday automatic below King Seiko, but references like the 5606-7191 were given enough shape and dial character to stand on their own rather than feel like a lesser version of something else.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis example makes the point immediately. The graduated green sunburst dial carries most of the personality, shifting tone with the light while the applied markers, day-date and compact case keep the overall design disciplined.
