A neo vintage Gold plated Zenith housing the ever reliable ETA 2829-2 with a signed Zenith rotor, which has 28.800 BPH, 21 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. The watch is in lovely condition with some light scratches from use. The dial is in great condition with a date window at 3 o'clock. With Zenith slowly gaining popularity again, this is a fantastic piece to get into the brand.

A BIT OF TRIVIA

 Zenith is a Swiss luxury watchmaker. The company was started in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le-Locle in the canton of Neuchatel and is one of the oldest continuously operating watchmakers. Favre-Jacot invented the concept of "in house movements", believing that only through control of the entire watchmaking process could the highest quality be achieved. This obsession with precision, as well as this constant quest for technical innovation, has been duly rewarded; the Manufacture has been awarded over 2330 chronometry prizes, making it the most titled brand in the field of precision. Zenith was purchased by LVMH in November 1999, becoming one of several brands in its watch division.

PERSONAL NOTE

This is a great example of a 90s Zenith watch, which has the fantastic ETA 2892-2 automatic movement and is hardly seen especially this great condition. This is a fine example of a delightful, reliable dress watch, that is made by one of the most prestigious watch brands around.
